Anyway i need a short story for english and this is what i have come up with so far. These are my ideas and the story i have started. I fail at english so be nice >.<

homeless man watching shadow. reflects on past life where his ambition led to his downfall




Seeing an old friend. - but he didn't recognise him.

there was one time when someone recognised him- but they only talk about small talk.

The friend makes him think about his old life- where he was a sucessful business man. but something went wrong that lead him to become a hobo.


I had the world at my fingertips. I was on top. After leaving school in year 10, I was now the richest stock brocker in the world and was the CEO of *insertnamehere* enterprises.
but now i live on the corner of 21st street in New York. I just watch the world go by, and i think of what it was like when i was on top. I had some rough times during my life,
during school i got bullied, got caught up in dealing drugs and got arrested twice. Left school in Year 10. Then after being kicked out of home, I needed a job. I managed to
start working in a coffee shop. I watched the world go by, all the rich buisnessmen in their fancy suits, coming in twice a day for their expensive coffees. I envied them. I
wanted to be them desperately.I saw an old friend called *insertnamehere* Who talked about what he was doing in the stock market. He offered me a job as a secretary. I accepted
with open arms. This was going to be my big break. He ended up teaching me the tricks of the trade and i began to catch on quickly. It seemed to come naturaly to me. Before i
knew it within a day I had doubled the amount of money i would make in a year at the coffee shop. Within a week I was offered a job at *insertnamehere* and then I knew that
I had found my passion. I was on top. I was happy with my life, looking forward to going to work. Then the CEO of *insertnamehere* came up to me one day and told me how he
could give me the inside tips i needed to make millions. It sound great. He talked about tripling my money in a matter of months. Not only that but I was able to avoid tax by
having a offshore bank account. So i thought to myself, Why not? Then my world turned upside down.

i mean for assessments since last year ive been writing the same story every single term and i always get 19-20/20. and the story is so shit its not funny

i always did this story and got full marks for it (in naplan and school cert. prac and shit).

here is a summary.




The Rubix Cube.

a guy is walking down the corridor of his new home when he stops and sees a door (which leads down to his basement) and he he examines it. he opens the door and walks down. i described the setting of the basement like a prison. it had like pipes running through the wall etc. so he decides to get out when he feels something is wrong and steps on a rubix cube. he picks it up and starts trying to solve it. he sits on the stairs of the basement and the door behind him shuts. he slowly starts to solve it when his body starts getting faster paced. some porce is driving him towards the cube and he cant leave until he has completed it. so his hands are flying, he cant think, only on the cube. hours pass etc... and he has one row left. he is relieved and gets up to stretch, preparing for the final twist. the cube falls from his hand (slow motion and shit) and slams on the floor. all the colours fly around eveywhere and he is shocked etc. in the middle of the cube, there is a note on the floor. he picks it up. it read: Game Over.




this is just a summary of the plot. i added soo much description about the actual door, the creaky stairs, the dusty basement with the piles of junk everywhere. the smell. the chill running down his spine and how the cube is so weird and shit. just use your imagination. describe tons and it'll rape.
