Imporving smoothness that urt runs will give you a lot better hits wehne using LR or any other auto based weapon (not as much sr8 and snipers and shit.) most computers can run urt peice of cake, but tweaking the settings will almost always give you better gameplay.
heres some shit i found helps.

/cl_maxpackets 42 (default: 30) /snaps 20 (default: 20, it's also cheat protected but just makes sure it's at 20 anyway.) /rate 25000 (default: 3000) /com_maxfps 125 (default: 85. If its jittery [jittery meaning you can't read what it says because it wont stop on one number] then lower it to 100, if it's still jittery go back to default: 85.)
Improved my hits like a boss.

Never heard of /snaps but yeah, another good one, but only when playing overseas (I think) is /cg_smoothclients 1, basically It runs the hits through the client instead of the server, but it can make mistakes.

It's good to use anytime afaik. All it does it smooth out the movements of other players. by evening out packet loss.
